Aris Papachronopoulos

Aris is an international casualty and cyber treaty reinsurance broker with over 10 years experience in the market. He led both the internal and external service offering as well as being involved in client advocacy from APAC to the London Market.
Aris joined Gallagher Re in 2022 to be the London lead on the company’s international casualty offering. This involves a very active role in prospecting efforts, client advocacy, thought leadership, people management as well as the wider internal and external strategies. In 2023, he graduated from Gallagher Re’s Client Advocacy Development Programme.
Prior to joining Gallagher Re, Aris was a Senior Vice President & Senior Casualty and Casualty Treaty Reinsurance Broker at Guy Carpenter. He worked with the APAC Casualty Practice Head to service and develop our company’s casualty offering to clients from London, Japan, China, India, Malaysia, Korea and Taiwan. Aris was also an Analyst in the Debt Capital Markets Division at Blackheath Group, Inc. He was assigned to the Fixed Income Structuring desk, working on projects ranging from leisure/gaming in Hungary, unconventional gas mining in Poland and iron ore mining in Sierra Leone.
In 2010, Aris graduated from the Royal Holloway University of London where he received a MSc in International Management and BSc (Hons) Financial & Business Economics.
Aris is fluent in English and Greek, Basic Japanese and French.
