Charlotte Halkett

Charlotte leads UK insurtech services for general insurers for Milliman, the global actuarial, risk and technology consultancy. She has more than two decades of insurance innovation experience and supports her clients through transformation, growth and technological evolution.
Before joining Milliman, Charlotte spent 15 years in senior leadership roles at high-growth, innovative insurtech businesses across the pet, motor, and household insurance sectors. Most recently she held the positions of Chief Commercial Officer and Chief Underwriting Officer at Pet Insurtech ManyPets. She was also a member of the founding team at Insure The Box, the pioneering telematics motor insurer.
A qualified actuary and alumna of the University of Cambridge, Charlotte combines deep technical expertise with effective commercial leadership experience. She currently serves on the CII’s Underwriting Community Board and is a Board Advisor to the Pet and Equine Insurance Association. She is a regular speaker at insurtech events and has also mentored for Lloyd’s Lab.
Charlotte is passionate about advancing insurance products and practices in ways that benefit society, customers, and the people working across the industry.
