Jubei Shindo is the Executive Vice President of Finance, Risk Management & Accounting Research at Daiichi Life North America Inc. In this role, he oversees the management of insurance subsidiaries across North America, specializing in risk oversight. He is also responsible for the strategic evaluation of corporate actions, ensuring that business plans and M&A initiatives align with corporate objectives and risk appetite.
With 15 years of experience in the insurance industry, Mr. Shindo has spent the past decade focused on the business management of international subsidiaries. His career includes a professional assignment in India and a secondment to Deloitte as a consultant.
Mr. Shindo holds a Master of Technology from the Advanced Institute of Industrial Technology (AIIT) and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences from Waseda University. He is a licensed U.S. Certified Public Accountant (USCPA).
