Molly Hanzelka

Molly Hanzelka joined Transamerica in 2002. Over the past 20 years, she has gained extensive annuity experience while holding several operations roles, including overseeing vendor adherence to compliance activities, and managing the new business department. She currently leads a team of business analysts who support annuity operations by implementing new product, enhancing core capabilities, and executing strategic projects. Her most recent accomplishment was to operationalize Transamerica’s newly launched Registered Indexed Linked Annuity (RILA) on several core platforms.

Molly has a passion for continuous improvement. She earned a Six Sigma Green Belt in 2013, and a Certified Associate of Project Management designation in (CAPM) in 2017. Molly has also championed Agile methodologies while partnering with vendors and technological teams to adopt a more iterative approach to execution.

Prior to Transamerica, she studied at Mt. Mercy University where she majored in Business Administration with a minor in Finance. Molly was also a board member for the Cedar Rapids chapter of The Salvation Army charitable organization from 2015 – 2018.

Outside of work, Molly enjoys spending time with her husband and 9-year-old son and cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes.
