Mi Young, manager of Kyobo Life Insurance, is responsible for not only communicating with investors on the firm’s performance results and industry issues but obtaining credit ratings to make the firm more reliable. She helps to raise capital from overseas and domestic market for maintaining financial soundness of the firm.

She joined the firm in 2017 from Hyundai Merchant Marine, where she worked in enterprise ship financing and investment. In addition, she was a member of the task force team that played a pivotal role in rescuing the company from a court liquidation.

As Mi Young always wants to sail to vast sea rather than be anchored in a safe port, she has kept challenging new tasks. She holds the CFA designation and played the drums in a rock band for seven years. She graduated with a B.A. in Business Administration from Ewha Womans University with minor in Economics.
