Allison Long serves as AVP, Social Impact Strategy & Performance at Sun Life, based in Toronto. In that role, she is responsible for setting and embedding Sun Life’s global social impact strategy, with a focus on integrating impact into core business priorities and helping to better serve Clients. Allison leads the Bridges Initiative, a global program that helps business groups design products and services for underserved groups and oversees a global accelerator that builds internal capabilities in long term thinking, multi stakeholder value, and impact measurement.

She also leads Sun Life’s climate and health strategy to assess the impacts of a changing climate on human health.

Prior to this role, Allison held senior sustainability roles at RBC, where she led enterprise and business group sustainability strategies, advanced impact measurement, and supported climate risk and scenario analysis. She began her career in environmental affairs with Fairmont Hotels & Resorts.

Allison holds a Master of Applied Science and Management from Toronto Metropolitan University and a Bachelor of Arts from McGill University. Outside of work, Allison enjoys running, cycling and swimming while also keeping up with her young kids.
