Olaoluwa is a result-driven and versatile professional with about 9 years’ experience in the insurance industry. He has played instrumental roles in supporting strategic initiatives, inspiring cross-functional collaboration, and delivering outcomes that contribute to organizational performance and customer satisfaction.
He is currently the Head of Actuarial Services at Custodian Life Assurance, where he leads the Actuarial team in the execution of various actuarial projects and functions.
As the head of the of the Actuarial Unit, he has been instrumental in driving both innovation and compliance within the organization. He plays a leading role in the company’s IFRS 17 valuation process, Asset liability management and product pricing, ensuring that the organization consistently meets the timely month end submission of IFRS 17 reports, maintains accuracy, transparency, and trust in the process. His dedication to this monthly milestone has set a standard for reliability and professionalism.
Also, Olaoluwa actively contributes to product development, offering insights and guidance that help shape solutions that are both meaningful for customers and sustainable for the business.

Prior to his current role, Olaoluwa has worked as a Life Reinsurance Executive, where he developed strong competencies in risk assessment and client relationship management.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Lagos, and two Master’s degree in Actuarial Science and Actuarial Management from the University of Lagos and Herriot Watt University, Edinburgh, Scotland respectively.
He is a member of the Nigerian Actuarial society and the Institute and Faculties of Actuaries, UK.
