An interdisciplinary research platform for integration of academic resources from insurance-related disciplines at the university; affiliated with the Fudan Development Institute; aims to study issues concerning insurance and social security in the context of China’s economic transition and internationalization; aims to offer academic support and policy recommendations for the construction and development of China’s economy.

Areas of Research: China insurance, disaster economics, insurance economics, insurance accounting, insurance regulation.
Other Activities: Participation in the preliminary study of the "New Ten National Rules" of State Council; advice and suggestions to Shanghai Municipal Government for the implement of the "New Ten National Rules"; research projects for the Ministry of Education, the China Insurance Regulatory Commission, Shanghai Municipal Government, Insurance Society of China, Shanghai Insurance Institute, People's Insurance Company of China and China Pacific Insurance.
