Daniel Essindi Behrendt, is an entrepreneur, executive and investor with more than 15 years of experience in technology, consumer Internet, and media.

Currently, Dani works at Apple creating strategic initiatives and worldwide partnerships in healthcare. Prior to Apple, he was the global strategic alliance lead at Honda Silicon Valley Lab, Honda’s open innovation lab. Dani launched Honda's tech office in Silicon Valley. During his tenure, Dani was responsible for an organization of engineers, designers and analysts tasked with investing, incubating and building next-gen automotive technology for Honda.

Before Honda, Dani was an investor at Ricoh R&D, working on new product creation and corporate spin-outs. Prior to Ricoh R&D, Dani was the co-founder and CEO of tripJane, an award-winning AI travel discovery service.

Previously, Dani purchased and re-launched Red Herring, serving as its President & COO. Before his tenure at Red Herring, Dani was the editorial director for ETRE, where he set strategic direction, fostering relationships among innovators, Fortune 1000 tech CEOs and global investors.

Dani has helped launch several venture funds, startups and media companies and holds five patents. He has a wide range of interests, including cinematography, abstract art, and helping people in developing nations reach their goals.

Dani is a trained economist with a B.S. in Economics, a M.S. in Econometric Modeling, earned an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and is currently pursuing a Masters in Liberal Arts Stanford University.

Peter Ohnemus founded the dacadoo Health Score/dacadoo ag, Zurich/Switzerland in 2010. The patented dacadoo Health Score & AI-based Lifestyle Navigation Platform is being licensed to key Life & Health Insurance companies (Payers) and global healthcare operators (Providers).

Peter has been involved in high-tech and bio-tech investments over the last 25 years and this had led to four IPO’s and multiple trade sells. He was also entrepreneur of the year in Switzerland.

Peter was CEO & co-founded ASSET4 in 2004 with Goldman Sachs and Merrill Lynch as investors. ASSET4 was sold to Thomson Reuters, New York in November 2009. Peter Ohnemus previously held senior executive positions with Sybase, Logic Works, The Fantastic Corporation and COS – all of which went public during his tenure. Peter Ohnemus was Entrepreneur of the Year (EoY) for Switzerland by EY.

Peter is a frequent speaker and has spoken at World Economic Forum (WEF), Fortune Brainstorm Health, Google Tech Talks, McKinsey’s Life Leaders CEO Forum, International Insurance Summit (IIS), Geneva Association (GA), The Royal Society of Medicine, Stanford LIGHT Conference, CommunicAsia, Mobile World Congress, European Health Forum by the EU, Economist Global Healthcare Forum, Mobile Health Summit DC, European Tech Tour, Red Herring, WWW/Digital Disease Detection, etc.

Peter occasionally teaches digital innovation & entrepreneurship at Universities such as ETH, HSG - Switzerland, Bocconi - India.

Joshua Landau

President of the International Insurance Society and the Pacific Insurance Conference

Joshua Landau is a seasoned Banking and Insurance Industry executive that currently serves as Senior Vice President, Managing Director & Group Head of the Financial Institutions Group for Fifth Third Bank, National Association, and is the President of the International Insurance Society and the Pacific Insurance Conference.

Before joining Fifth Third, Josh spearheaded FIG relationship banking in the US and provided global coverage for clients as head of the Financial Institutions Group - America at Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Ltd. (ANZ), and had also served as the Global Head of the Insurance industry sector. Josh also has deep experience as an Insurance Industry risk officer, private equity investor, and M&A specialist in the global insurance sector, having started his career at Chemical Bank (now JP Morgan Chase), and working with BNP Paribas, UBS, and Firemark Investments in various roles over the past 25 years.

Josh has an MBA in Finance from NYU's Stern School of Business, and a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and Management Information Systems from the University at Albany. Josh has also completed various executive education courses in Management at MIT and Duke University.

Josh is a Member of the Advisory Board at the Center for Institutional Investment Management at the University at Albany, and a member of the Dean's Advisory Board at the School of Business at the University. Josh is active in his local community as a travel soccer coach and served as a vice president in his local civic association.
