Singapore – June 21, 2019 The RGA Leaders of Tomorrow were recognized at the International Insurance Society (IIS) Global Insurance Forum in Singapore on June 20. Lawrence Cheng, from Peak Re, Ayodele Iyun from Custodian & Allied Insurance, and Carmony Wong from RGA were also recognized as the 2019 Leaders of Tomorrow Leadership Honorees.
2019 marks the fifth year of the RGA Leaders of Tomorrow program. The designees are from diverse backgrounds and regions of the world, and bring their own unique perspective to the industry. Each designee was paired with a mentor to help guide them in their career development. They also prepared and presented a paper on an industry topic, and participated in a dynamic panel session at the Global Insurance Forum led by Tony Cheng, Executive Vice President, Head of Asia for RGA.
“RGA recognizes that leadership and talent development is fundamental to our success and the success of the entire insurance industry,” says Paul Nitsou, Executive Vice President, Global Accounts, RGA. “The RGA Leaders of Tomorrow Program is a tangible way for us to invest in the rising stars in the industry. The individuals who participated in the program represent the future of our industry, and we are proud to support them as they continue to build their careers.”
“IIS and the insurance industry are deeply grateful to RGA for sponsoring and organizing this terrific program. Recognizing and mentoring future industry leaders is a critical component in addressing the challenges of an industry-wide talent shortage,” says Mike Morrissey, IIS President and CEO.
